Album

Foam Born A the Backtrack - 0:00 - Between the Buried and Me. Between The Buried And Me - Viridian. It contains excellent musicianship, dueling clean and growl vocals, and pure chaos wound up in a nice bow. Becoming one solid unit of artists and recording their definitive record in such a cohesive fashion is a very rare feat. Examples include jazz, acoustic pop, arena rock, and bluegrass. Between The Buried And Me - Informal Gluttony. Colors is the fourth album by Between the Buried and Me, released on September 18, 2007 through Victory Records. Another reason it's difficult to fault Between the Buried and Me for the nonstop progressive metal on this album is that Colors is BTBAM's most varied album to date. Particularly because my first time hearing Between the Buried and Me i got introduced by Alaska. However, if I had to choose their absolute best, it would be Colors. Between The Buried And Me - Prequel to the Sequel. Between The Buried And Me - B The Decade of Statues. For a band that already has a laundry list of crazy, eclectic influences, BTBAM have really outdone themselves. The fantastic voyage that Between The Buried & Me charted at the creation of their groundbreaking record Colors was both cathartic, magical and life-affirming for the band. The group brought out many different influences within the structure of the songs featured on the album. Songs in album Between The Buried And Me - Colors 2007. Opener Foam Born, Pt. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Another major issue with the new genres in Colors is that the Pachelbel metal, while applied in a self-aware, ironic fashion, gets a little heavyhanded a times. 8 tracks 64:09. Between The Buried And Me - Sun of Nothing. A: The Backtrack marries sappy '70s rock piano schlock with furious tapped guitar textures, flowing seamlessly into the aggressive death metal riffing of Foam Born, Pt. Colors is the fourth studio album by the band Between the Buried and Me, released on September 18, 2007. Described by the band as adult contemporary progressive death metal, the album runs together as a 64-minute epic split up into 8 tracks. Another reason it's difficult to fault Between the Buried and Me for the nonstop progressive metal on this album is that Colors is BTBAM's most varied album to date. Although separated in 8 tracks, Colors gives the impression of one continuous song, with transitions between each part. Between The Buried And Me - Whit. Посмотреть сведения об участниках альбома, рецензии, композиции и приобрести альбом 2007 CD от Colors на The Buried And Me have more than one album that can be considered a masterpiece. It is such an excellent album, and an perfect place to start if you are interested in Between The Buried And Me. In its first week it sold approximately 12,600 copies, reaching 57th on the Billboard 200the first time the band cracked the top 100 on that list. In many ways Between the Buried and Me's juxtapositions are purposefully gauche, I think BTBAM even trumps themselves sometimes in producing moments that are not even palatable. Colors was recorded in April through May 2007 at the Basement Studios with Jamie King as the chosen producer for it. Between The Buried & Me release their 2008 album, Colors- Live which includes a bonus DVD of one of the finest exhibitions of true performance art. Alaska to this day is still my favorite album. Between The Buried And Me - Foam Born A The Backtrack. I think anyone that enjoys all the sub-genres of Progressive Rock will find something to love in Colors. So I got this signed by all the band members on their recent LatAm mini-tour, but I wasn't really excited to listen to this because of the negative comments. But this pressing didn't disappoint. The vinyl did have some minor scuffs but nothing too distracting, and the record itself is flat. Also, I didn't have any problems with the run-out grooves. To my ears this remaster sounded slightly better than the original mix. I think the keyboards/synths sound more upfront, and also the "cantina" section in Ants of the Sky is mixed louder (which I didn't like), but I can't be really sure about that. I also had to adjust my sound settings because I felt the record was slightly bass-shy. The packaging feels cheap sadly, but overall I think if you are a fan of this record, you should get this. Play it loud!

Anyone have a video of how the songs sound when playing all the way through? Meaning every song is basically mixed together. I guess you can hear where a song specifically starts and stops when listening digitally, but like Sun of Nothing and Ants of the Sky really follow one another and ANts is on a whole other lp.
  • Beazerdred
No video (sorry), but the songs just cut off jarringly. The transitions from Track 1-2-Informal Gluttony, Ants of the Sky to Prequel to the Sequel, and Viridian to White Walls are pretty good, tho.

I bought this on the Colors 10 year anniversary tour late August or early September 2017, and I'm only getting around to listening to it in its entirety now. The remaster generally sounds great but there is just something that is SUS AF going on with this press. Run in grooves are trash and it seems like the tracking is wobbly, even though there's nothing to be seen on the record to indicate that, noisy as shit at points too. Kinda sad to be honest, because you can find a bullshit press of The Silent Circus at hot topic that sounds better than this.
  • Mojar
Off center pressing with lots of noise and generally just not very good sounding in general.Oddest thing about it is every single side's run in groove doesnt work, the stylus just slips violently into the start of the tracks, sometimes skipping if it goes too fast! I have never seen that on any record before! It's a real shame as I really love this album, but this level of quality control seems to be prevelant in a lot of new vinyl.

Can anyone help me in explaining who I can contact if I think I have a bad pressing? I had a doubt because coma ecliptic sounded horrendous. However everyone seems to be pleased here with this copy. So I purchased the lp land the it's a complete shit show boys. The cymbals are mixed way too high so they cut through everything with an immense amount of static. The vocals tend to do the same when it's loud. The odd part is the quieter parts ("I'm floating towards the sun") sound amazing. Any help is appreciated thank you

I have no issues with this recording, it was pretty silent and the quality was great. Album itself is worth a listen and is a BTBM classic.
  • Androwyn
My copy of this very well might be the best sounding album in my collection. Extraordinary pressing.

The quality of this pressing seems to be a hit or miss. Side D (Viridian and White Walls) has horrible hissing and popping with a couple visible divots. The record itself is flat but while looking down directly my headshell bobs severely side to side. Very upsetting for me as side D would be my most desired side to listen to. Side A exhibits similar bobbing tracking movement but not as bad. The other two sides track without this behavior at all, near perfectly though. I'll rely on my 140gram pressing if I want to listen to this LP in the future.
  • Natety
tangerinegripz Seems like you have a case of Side A and Side D being pressed off-center. You'll have to make the spindle hole bigger and center it yourself if you want to listen to it without bobbing tracking or wow and flutter. Thanks for the tip, I would not have thought to do that. I ended up returning this copy to my local record store and got it replaced. Sad to say, the new copy exhibits the same flaws! I do seriously think that there are quality control issues with this pressing.

How does this sound? I'm thinking about dropping the funds on it this weekend since it just showed up at the record shop I frequent.
  • Deodorant for your language
Trust me, it sounds incredible compared to the old victory pressings. I have 2 different presses from Victory and this repress/remaster blows those out of the water.
  • Adorardana
Sounds great. I don't have an old Victory pressing on vinyl to compare, so I am only comparing this to digital - However, it is a very dynamic and clean pressing. I'm very happy with it.
  • Diab
Is there a tour variant of this? I see that this standard black is available at online retailers. Is the one they are selling on tour any different?
  • Arthunter
So i'm super late here, but the version I got on tour is exactly the same as the copy in record stores and online. Just standard black.
  • Umrdana
Just picked it up at a show two days ago, sadly it was exactly the same as the one I saw at a record store, and more expensive to boot.

A lot of Blood Music vinyl is 180 gram and colored. The SGM album trilogy reissues (metallic cream mix lp variants) were all 180 gram.https://www.discogs.com/Sleepytime-Gorilla-Museum-In-Glorious-Times/release/9530080https://www.discogs.com/Sleepytime-Gorilla-Museum-Of-Natural-History/release/9530039https://www.discogs.com/Sleepytime-Gorilla-Museum-Grand-Opening-And-Closing/release/9476695

rllr Here's an example of 180g colored vinyl. That said, this repress is ONLY on BLACK. No special variants have been made.https://www.discogs.com/Flume-Skin/release/8557518
  • Ximinon
I asked the merch person and they said no and also indicated that most if not all 180g pressings are on black vinyl which I was about to refute until I couldn't come up with a single counter example in my collection.

Didn't appear to be. I was gonna get it @ the Philly show last night, which was AWESOME, but decided to get something else & the album online. It's exactly the same as the one pictured.
